Dell let me down today. I’ve been waiting on a part from them for a week now, and it should have been here by now. I call them to find out what’s happening, and it turns out the order was canceled. To add insult to injury, it takes over half an hour for them to figure out why: the first guy I talked to last week ordered the wrong part. One would think they would have called to warn me something was wrong. Or at least sent an email notification of the cancellation so I could call them and find out what the happened. I guess that would be too difficult. Meanwhile I’ve got a critical server at work that is essentially a boat anchor until this part arrives.
Those IBM eServer commericals are starting to look more and more attractive…
Okay, enough geek talk.
Forgot to mention another item I bought last night: Lammy Whammy dog treats. I saw these things hanging near an endcap and thought they looked interesting. At first I thought they were something like jerky, but the bag was incredibly light. I knew it was lamb meat, and basically figured they would be like doggy gyros. Upon taking a closer look, however, I found these things were not just lamb meat — they were lamb lungs.
That just sealed the deal. I’m almost tempted to taste one myself, but they stink something fierce and appear to be basted with some other kind of muck that dogs love. And love these things Sasha does; I couldn’t get her to leave me alone after giving her three small chunks last night.
Lamb lungs. Who thought that up? I’d imagine it’s a butcher trying to stretch his margins, but I have to wonder about a guy who thought it would be funny to see his dog’s reaction if he gave it some funky animal organ to eat. Or maybe a guy who caught a dog or coyote digging into a lamb’s rib cage for a chunky gray morsel.
And we think some people food is odd.

Wow, I haven’t thought about these for a few years now. I’d say look around online, someone’s bound to carry them.

I have been looking for Lammy Whammy’s also and just ran across some of the same name by Sergeant’s on a website, but you can’t buy them there. It isn’t what they had a the WAL place but it looks and sounds the same. Now to just find where they sell them.

Question to Lanna Kaneiss # 5. I tried the Fosters and Grant web site to no avail. It comes up as Fosters and Smith. At Fosters and Smith they do not have to Lameeze or Lammy Whammy product. Can you help?

Google Baa! Lung by Free Range. Same as from Wal Mart except these are not from China.
