As somewhat of a photo geek (in other words, someone who likes photography but doesn’t have near enough time to diddle with it), I like to pop by Shutterline and check out their Photo of the Day entries. On the 12th, there was this entry. I’m not big on vignettes, but I think it worked to good effect in this picture. And it’s a great, picture, too; the photographer had a good eye.

But check out the caption: “A shot of my brother-in-law with his newborn son. Struck by lightning at age 13, no one ever thought he would be able to live a normal life, but he proved them wrong. It has been nice to see his dreams come true.”

I wonder if this means the baby will have super powers?
