Iran: “Death to America”

Classy.

The nutshell: the Iranian legislature has unanimously approved a measure requiring the government to resume uranium enrichment. During the session, some of them were chanting “death to America.”

I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised as they know we’re spread thin between Iraq and Afghanistan and that we look like idiots to the rest of the world for claiming Hussein had WMDs when, in fact, he didn’t. And as for the election, they probably figure Bush won’t get the support (from Congress or the People) to go in, and Kerry will be busy talking to the UN and the “world community.”

The odds are definitely in their favor.
