Easter and Kids

To this day, I still don’t get the concept of the Easter Bunny. We’re celebrating the resurrection of JC, but somehow there’s this pagan concept of a rabbit tied into it. A rabbit that lays eggs, no less.

And he doesn’t just squeeze ‘em out into a convenient nest, oh no. He deposits his little love nuggets all over the back yard for children to find.

Someone was on acid when they came up with this one.

I’ve been telling The Midget the story below, and how Jesus’s first word was “Brraaaaiiinns…” This morning, I asked him “What did Jesus say?”

The Midget replies “I got a chocolate bunny!”
