I’ve been using Google Talk with some folks today, and it’s pretty slick. I added it to my GAIM client and have had no troubles except some minor issues with a friend using Trillian. However, he disconnected and reconnected and everything appeared to be fine after that.

Google gets cooler every day. I found out today they’re launching a chat service and client called Google Talk, which is based on the open Jabber protocol. It will reportedly include both IM and VoIP functionality, and integrate with Gmail.
