Asshole Sues Apple

I thought about classifying this one as another Dumbass of the Day, but this is beyond dumb. No, this guy is just trying to make a buck the new American way: by suing the shit out of somebody. In this case, the guy is suing Apple because he claims the iPod is too loud and damaged his ears.

Here’s a few hints:

1) If your ears ache at any point during or after your listening session, your iPod might be too loud.

2) If you can’t hear the environment around you while listening, your iPod might be too loud.

3) If you have that sucker cranked up more than halfway while using earbuds, your iPod might be too loud.

4) If you can feel the air pressure coming off the tiny speakers, your iPod might be too loud.

I can’t imagine there being any debate with this one. Conversations like this usually invoke the McDonald’s coffee incident from a few years back, but word there is the coffee was brewed hotter than the cup would hold, leaving room for some debate of responsibility (even if the payout ridiculous). How much easier can it get than turn the fucking thing down!?

If Apple’s lawyers can’t get this one tossed out of court, Steve Jobs may as well replace them with the team of monkeys from the CareerBuilder.com commercials.
