The kids got Burger King the other day, and this is what they came home with. They’re supposed to be a Superman Returns promotional item. Nothing screams cool like a pair of cheap plastic sunglasses you can’t see through, complete with headband to hold the damn thing on.
If Superman actually wore these, everyone would kick his ass. All Lex Luthor would have to do is run this on the front page of the Daily Planet with the headline “This is your hero?” and Supes would be pelted with eggs in the streets.
Next time maybe the designer should just put a chinstrap on ‘em and hang a “kick me” sign off the back.
