The proof is right here. A cat started a house fire in a disabled woman’s home. The trained dog got the phone so the woman could call 911. Both animals were killed in the fire.
UPDATE: There’s another article with more details. Not only did the dog fetch the phone, it fetched the woman’s artificial leg. Then it went up to rescue the dumbass cat, but died in that attempt. Swell.
MORE EVIDENCE: Antoher dog barked during a fire to wake her master. A cat would have just gotten the hell out of there and left the dude to burn.

If the cat started the fire, it had a reason. The woman and dog were obviously agents of some greater evil.
