Why Kids Are Stupid

By Mike | January 30, 2007

Wonder why some kids are stupid? Because stupid adults are teaching them, thus perpetuating the problem.

A big example is this letter to parents from a teacher who got their facts wrong in class (the teacher’s arrogance only makes it worse), which has been circulated around the Internet for some time now. But Boing Boing has turned up two more cases:

Astronomy mistake
Physics mistake

A simple Google search would have been all the fact-checking the designers of the packaging linked above would have needed. Apparently even that’s too much work anymore.
