Is this really the first smoke of the year? It’s already March and I haven’t had a chance to enjoy a cigar. That’s just not right.
We hit the 60’s today, so I didn’t pass up the opportunity to get outside and smoke. The night had cooled, but not near enough to chase me inside. In fact, take the breeze out of the picture and it was darn near a perfect night for a cigar.
I selected a stubby Punch Gran Puro due to the late hour. I had forgotten how robust the smoke was on these babies, but I quickly warmed up to it as I relaxed on the swing out back. Just me, my dog, and the night.
They say the weather’s not going to hold like this, and we’ll be seeing cooler temps and rain by the weekend. That’s a bummer, especially with tomorrow’s high listed as 72, but a least I got a smoke in to tide me over for a while.
