Spring brings in a new season of IDPA events at my father’s range, so while I was visiting last weekend I took advantage of the time to put some lead through some paper.
I wanted to make sure it was sighted in good and proper, and we had just repainted the front sight so I also checked out the sight picture. Finally, I adjusted my grip some. The results are in the picture.
Note the holes that seem to be coming at you were not made simultaneous with the ones I made. I took someone else’s old target and flipped it over.
As you can see, I got it where I want it.
Now let’s see if I can get through a match without choking on one of the courses this year.

Every time I look at that picture, I can’t help but wonder why you’re shooting the poor guy while he’s lying down. Oh, wait, that’s right, shoot until the threat is over.
Just kidding. I’m a sucker for used IDPA targets at my local range. I’m more accurate when the targets are free.
