Iran Stirring Up Trouble
By Mike | March 23, 2007
Iran has captured sixteen UK sailors in Iraqi waters. If I had to guess, the UK ship gave up rather than starting a conflict. What I don’t understand is why Iran would do it this way rather than simply ordering the UK ship out of the area, especially with tensions running so high due to the Iran nuclear mess.
But maybe that’s exactly what they want. Maybe they’re intentionally trying to stir up trouble. They’re consistently thumbing their noses at the UN and (especially) the US, and they know there are a lot of countries who would not be particularly happy if the US or its allies started dropping bombs on or rolling tanks into Iran.
