The NyQuil Diet

Today I stand on the other side of a nasty cold-fever combination that put me four pounds lighter on the scale this morning. While it was nice to already make my goal weight loss for the month, it certainly isn’t a diet I’d recommend.

What a way to start off a Spring Break. I made it through the entire school year so far without getting sick, then bam, this bug takes me down with a vengeance. I feel like someone picked me up and wrung me out. The NyQuil (original green death flavor, as Denis Leary puts it) helped me sleep, at least, but it didn’t quite quell the fever dreams.

To top things off, I just found out something’s wonky with my mail server at work. I get the feeling what should have been a day of chilling and recovering is about to turn into an IT nightmare.
