I’ve been meaning to link a Max Barry blog post for a couple weeks now — Danger: Linux Advocacy Ahead. I found out a couple years ago that Max runs Linux on his home PC and does his writing on OpenOffice.org. By then I’d already been doing the same for some time, and it gave me hope that he apparently has no problems sending files, etc., back and forth to agents, editors and publishers while working on a Linux system. For the few of you who insist it can’t be done, maybe Max can convince you.
