Smoke Blog: Bahia Gold

By Mike | May 8, 2007

I’ve got a couple cigar rings sitting here from smokes I had over the past few weeks but never got around to reviewing. One of them is the Bahia Gold.

Unfortunately there’s only one thing I remember about this particular smoke: I was going to call it the Bahia Gymsock. Shortly after I lit it, a funky flavor kicked in that I just did not dig. The wife sat outside with me while I smoked it, and while she’s pretty much gotten used to the smell of cigar smoke, she kept shifting out of the way of the tendrils headed her way. I only finished half of it before giving up and chucking it in the fire pit.

Final verdict: I might give this brand another shot based on the good things I’ve heard people say about it, but I won’t be spending the money to do it.
