Promising New Hydrogen Fuel Source
By Mike | May 21, 2007
Researchers at Purdue University have found a new process to generate hydrogen from an aluminum alloy that will make a safer and easier method for generating hydrogen to power small engines and, possibly down the road, motor vehicles. This solves the problems of distributing and storing hydrogen and even at current estimates can be a clean and competitive alternative to fossil fuels if they can get it to scale to larger engines.
It sounds so simple. I hope this isn’t another case of something too good to be true.
