A Smoke Before the Storm

I am sooo glad I bought a box of these babies. After a rare stressful day at work dealing with report card problems, I came home, grabbed one out of the box, and lit up.

Within minutes — possibly even seconds — I was calm and relaxed.

It didn’t take long to remember why the Reserva Real is among my favorite cigars. It’s a smooth, even smoke with a rich, yet not overpowering, flavor. They’re very well constructed, and this one here held up to heavy winds from the storm blowing in (see the background of the picture above).

Tomorrow I golf with some co-workers. You can bet a Romeo will be coming along.
