    I’ve done the NaNoWriMo either twice or three times and didn’t find it at all engaging. On the other hand, I’ve done the 72 Hour Novel contest twice and really pulled something out of both exercises. Lesson learned: I need more pressure than the average Joe to force narrative from my fingertips.

    Stupd damn contests anyway…

    A 72-hour contest or similar would probably be much better for me, too. It would be something I could cram into the school’s Xmas Break or Spring Break.
