Labor Day

Today may be a day off work, but I still intend to labor like Hercules, for I am under a deadline.

I wrote a chunk of words last night, and it felt great. Then I received a draft of a schedule for the next year and a half from my new publisher, and I can assure you, it’s going to be an exciting year. He wants to make us rich, and he’s definitely not slouching. My fingers are going to have to fly across the keyboard just to keep up.

This isn’t a bad thing. I need a kick in the pants every now and then, and this new publisher is good at providing them. While technically still small press, his actions are very much those of a large, professional publishing house. An honest-to-God marketing plan? Who’d have thunk it?!

I can’t wait to tell you more! Soon, my friends. Soon.
