It’s a big day for The Pack, folks!
I have a title for the sequel to Winter Kill at last. Book 2 is officially The Pack: Lie with the Dead. Ever wonder how fast some things move in publishing? Here’s an example: the title hit me this morning in the shower. (I really do need a way to take notes in there.) I mulled it over a bit, fired it off to my editor at Evileye Books and a friend for a quick opinion. In the meantime I verified I had the grammar correct (lay vs lie can be a pain) and did some quick searches on the phrase. My friend and my editor both dug the title, we declared it good, and the editor wrote up the news release.
Boom, off we go.
I’m rather proud of myself for that one. I just wish these flashes of brilliance came a little faster and more consistently.
That’s not all the news we have, though. Starting today, The Pack: Winter Kill Kindle edition is only $4.99 for the holidays! How’s that for a trick-or-treat gift? That’s cheaper than a lunch, folks. Don’t have a Kindle? No problem! Download the Kindle app for your PC, Mac, or even for your smart phone! Buy the book cheap, read it just about anywhere.
Finally, check this out:
You’re looking at a cover mock-up for the limited edition, signed, hardcover edition of The Pack: Winter Kill. Evileye and I are still putting together the particulars, but there will be exclusive content and some special surprises for fans. We don’t have pricing information yet, but we’re now recruiting folks for pre-orders.
If you have any interest in a collectible hardcover edition of TP:WK, then send an email to WinterKillHC@evileyebooks.com with your full name and contact information. Note there is no financial commitment at this time, but this is the only way to get on the Acquisition List.
Things have been quiet for The Pack lately, so it’s good to have some big news to share. Evileye has a lot more cooking, too, so be sure to check the Eyewire blog or follow their Twitter feed. For more information on these announcements, jump on over to the publisher’s announcement or just drop me a line.
Yep, life is good. Now I hope to have more info on a The Pack: Lie with the Dead release date soon.
