The Cape Girardeau Comic Con has moved down the street to the Student Rec Center South at 926 Broadway. If you were planning on being there, note the new location! It’s still on April 21st & 22nd, and I will still be bringing plenty of comics.

I just found out my comic publisher, Moonstone Books, is going to donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of The Phantom issues 17-19 to Invisible Children, which will in turn use the funds to help build schools and shelters for children displaced by the violence and turmoil in Africa.

I survived the weekend. Had a great time, and I’ve got a couple things to talk about and some pictures to post, but I’m way too deal with all that right now. Some quick hits in the meantime:

I just found out artist Mike Hawthorne will be joining Brian and I at our signing at Comix Connection in Pennsylvania this weekend. Come on out and get a bunch of stuff signed!

It appears comic writer Brian K Vaughan has taken an Executive Story Editor role on Lost. That actually brings back some excitement for the coming season for me.
I love Vaughan’s comics work, such as Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina. I trust him to tell a good story, and he knows how manage long [...]
