Ah, I love some good surf music, and other all instro sounds.

You should definitely get some Link Wray, if you haven’t already. The dude invented distortion. Really. Legend has it he stabbed his amp with a switchblade. Truth it, he poked holes in it with a pencil. Result was the same.

If you ever want more suggestions than you could possibly need, I can give you some. Lots and lots of good stuff out there.

Mike, sounds like your getting a handle on things. Good for you. Heck, I still have scraps of paper lying around everywhere with random thoughts written on them in my chicken scratch. Now if I could just spend the next 4 or 5 hours trying to decipher my own shorthand I would have a direction to go.

That’s exactly what I’ve been trying to do this year, and it’s worked well so far. And it’s not that I get a whole lot more done, but I FEEL better knowing I’ve at least taken a step forward instead of stagnating in a muck-puddle (or sinking in quick-sand, which is probably more accurate).

When we get together at a con or something, I’ll show you how to do one of the nasty throws we have in ninjutsu. Freakin’ ridiculous, but a ton of fun provided your training partner is nice and allows you to fall out of it. Otherwise…well it ain’t ever fun landing on your head, lol…
