I hate those moments you realize you need to work to accomplish something, but then you’re not accomplishing anything so you have trouble making yourself do the work. You end up in this sort of limbo, planning the work you need to get done to reach a goal, but all you can do is stare at all the work you’ve already done and see that the goal has come no closer.
You’re spinning your wheels but going nowhere. You’re just pissing up a rope. It looks something like this:
But you do it anyway. Because you want to.
Because you have to.
Or maybe you just like keeping your face warm.
